Revo Special Introductory Video

Is an accurate and reproducible 5 Minute ABI possible?
Yes, it is - with the new Revo®!

View “Quick ABI with PVR” below, a segment from the Revo® Training DVD.
While not realtime, this very informative segment details the techniques of the 5 Minute ABI and Calibrated Pulse Volume Recording waveforms.

Revo® utilizes the same modalities as the fully configured reference lab systems for which Unetixs Vascular is well known - Doppler, Calibrated PVR (C-PVR™), and Dual Channel PPG – for obtaining pressures and waveforms. This assures accuracy and reproducibility. Additionally, Revo® is equipped with all the accessories necessary to make ABI quick and efficient.

How is a 5 Minute ABI Performed?

By simply choosing the QUICK ABI with PVR Study from Revo®’s list of study types. Then, the four supplied 10cm blood pressure cuffs are placed on both arms and both ankles and connected to the Revo® with the well-marked inflation hoses. The PPG probes, encased in their handy clips, are placed on both hands to detect blood flow. Revo®, at the user's discretion, inflates and deflates both arm cuffs simultaneously, marking the point at which blood flow returns. The user then moves the PPG probe clips to the patient’s feet and repeats the inflation and deflation cycles to obtain ankle waveforms and pressures.

If Great Toe waveforms and pressures are desired, digit cuffs are applied to the Great Toes and once again, the user initiates the inflation and deflation cycle to obtain this information.

All in all, a less-than-5-minute procedure, including printing the report!
